RIFFLER FILES
Die sinker riffler files are used for removing metal and smoothing in tight places.
This 3-square shape will cut a near-perfect 60° angle. The file teeth meet square at the corners and will cut the finest hairline cut at the bottom of diamond grooves. There is a 35° up-bend at the tip.
These riffler files are 6” overall length and double-ended. The middle portion serves as the handle. Teeth are cut in small areas on each end.
Proper cleaning of files with a file card and wire brush helps to keep the finish of the workpiece smooth and free of unwanted scratches, and prevents chips from building up in the teeth of the riffler file.
ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING RIFFLER FILES
