Lindstrom has developed and produced high precision pliers and cutters since 1856, making them the oldest continuous producer of hand tools in existence today.
Lindstrom is now a separate business unit within SNA Europe. The new Lindstrom is responsible for developing, producing and marketing not only cutters and pliers, but an assortment of high-precision tools including screwdrivers, tweezers, torque drivers and more. They have maintained their competitive edge through technical understanding, response to market needs, and a commitment to advanced technology.
Some competitors have been able to implement one facet or another of the Lindstrom manufacturing process. Others have tried to copy the form, appearance and even the actual part numbers of Lindstrom tools. However, none have been able to successfully blend all the elements required to achieve the level of performance recognized as a true Lindstrom tool.
Our customers today have applications more demanding, varied and difficult to solve than ever before. They demand better performance, longer life and lower costs in every area. People have come to expect only the best from us. And as usual, Lindstrom will deliver.

Lindstrom Supreme Pliers
The Lindstrom Supreme series of pliers have good performance for the traditional user.
Good pliers for general electronics work, repair, fine mechanical work and for general tasks.
Most of the pliers in the Supreme series have a specially made box joint with extra long contact surfaces, made possible by a special manufacturing technique. Undesirable joint movement is held to a minimum, ensuring extremely precise alignment of the jaws, even at the extreme tip.

Lindstrom Ergo on a scientific basis
Each time you grip a tool, you are putting 42 different muscles to work. By subjecting yourself to the strain this causes on a daily basis, you risk overexertion, pain or numbness in parts of the hand by using incorrectly designed tools. The constant repetition of some actions causes strain even if they do not feel particularly strenuous at the time.
The design of ergonomic tools within Lindstrom is based on a scientifically recognized 11-point program. This program covers facts and experiences gathered from users, ergonomists, industrial designers, research and development departments as well as extensive testing and trials together with end-users of Lindstrom tools.
This method is unique within the tool industry. And to ensure that you can always see which tools have been developed according to this program, each one is marked with the ERGO® symbol.
