CD CLEANING
1) CD cleaning should always be your first step. Dust, oil and other surface contaminants may prevent your disc from playing properly, even if it is not scratched or scuffed.
2) Wash your hands. Then, rinse the disc in warm water to remove any loose dirt or dust, reducing the risk of scratching it while cleaning
3) Remove greasy fingerprints with a little liquid soap and water
4) When you clean a CD, start near the center of the disc and wipe towards the edge. This is to prevent further scratching.
5) USE COTTON CLOTH, NOT PAPER PRODUCTS, TO CLEAN THE DISC. A good choice is a microfiber cloth.
6) Once the CD is clean, let it air-dry. Do not use a towel, do not set it in the sun.
7) Professional resellers like to remove light scuff-marks with a flannel buffing wheel to achieve a like-new look
