Uses 4 "AA" Alkaline batteries

* This unit was formally rechargeable. It now uses 4 regular AA alkaline batteries, and no longer comes with a recharging unit.

The ring cutter blade guard easily slips under the ring to protect the hand and fingers completely. Chrome blade assembly can be sterilized. Comes with one ring cutter saw blade.

Electric Ring Cutter Instructions

1. With motor off, carefully slip the ring cutter finger guard between the ring and the finger.
2. Once the guard is in place, turn motor on. The ring cutter blade should be rotating before it makes contact with the ring.
3. Use gentle pressure, let the blade do the cutting. If the blade slows down you are pressing too hard.
4. One cut will usually relieve the tension, and the ring will spread apart. If not, repeat the procedure and make a cut on the opposite side of the ring.
5. Remove the ring from the finger.
