SILICON CARBIDE CUT-OFF WHEELS
These thin silicon carbide cut-off wheels cut on the periphery and on both sides for light deburring.
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING THE SIDES OF THESE WHEELS
TOO MUCH PRESSURE AND THE WHEELS WILL SHATTER
Resin-bond silicon carbide cut-off wheels are a good choice for cutting chrome castings and non-precious metal sprues. Silicon carbide abrasive is sharper and more friable than aluminum oxide. The sharper grains can penetrate and cut off stainless steel, titanium and other difficult materials.
These cut off wheels are a good choice for use with a Dremel or Dumore electric grinder.
Available in 3/4”, 7/8" and 1" diameters, with a 1/16 pin hole for use with a miniature mandrel.
Maximum Safe Speeds:
3/4" to 1" Cut Off Wheels
10,000 – 25,000 RPM
CAUTION: Exceeding these maximum speeds may cause the wheel to exert extreme force externally.
ALWAYS WEAR SUITABLE EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING THESE OR ANY ABRASIVE CUT-OFF WHEELS
