FLAT ENGRAVER TROUBLE SHOOTING

PROBLEM:
CORRECTION

Distorted engraving:
Check holding fixtures and ratio settings

Line of engraving not parallel:
Ratio settings are not set on the same edge of material ratio number on both the arms

Vice out of alignment:
Re-set vice to center of zero scale or protector scale on machine base

Stray lines or scratches after engraving:
Be sure to release pressure on diamond tip arm first before moving to next letters on the right arm

Depth of engraved letters too shallow:
Lower the diamond tip shaft down from the housing to enable deeper engraved letters
