TAPERED SPINDLES

Steel tapered spindle with a tapered hole for the tapered RIGHT shaft of a dental lathe

These tapered spindles will only fit dental lathes with tapered shafts.

The hole is tapered to perfectly match the tapered shaft of the dental lathe motor. There are no set screws. To mount, lightly tap the spindle onto the tapered shaft with a wooden mallet.

To remove, simply twist the spindle remover lever, pushing the spindle off the tapered shaft.

The tapered spindle mounting system assures a more accurate fit between buff, spindle and arbor, and reduces buffing wheel vibration.
