This wheel mandrel is designed to fit Cratex rubberized abrasive wheels up to 3" diameter x 1/2" width or less.

1/4-20 threaded shank with 2 nuts and 2 flanges

NEVER EXCEED MAXIMUM SAFE SPEEDS:

1-1/2" diameter - 15,000 RPM
2" diameter - 10,500 RPM
2-1/2" diameter - 8,300 RPM
3" diameter - 7,000 RPM

Safe speeds based on 5,500 Surface Feet Per Minute

USE WITH SHANK EXPOSED 1/2" OR LESS. FOR EACH ADDITIONAL 1/4" OF OVERHANG DECREASE THE SPEED BY AT LEAST 20%.

Best results with Cratex abrasives are usually obtained at 30% to 80% of the maximum safe operating speeds and a light work pressure.
