Skip Tooth scroll saw blades are good, all-around versatile blades. The range of sizes and teeth per inch allows the cutting of intricate scroll saw patterns as well as rough-cut work. The thickness of work ranges from 1/16" to 2-1/2". These blades provide good chip removal, fast feed rates, and smooth finishes. For wood, plastic, bone, Corian, and most fibrous materials.
Double Skip Tooth scroll saw blades contain sets of closely pitched teeth that aid in producing a fine finish. The skip adds the benefit of effective chip removal. Recommended for soft wood, suitable for hard wood, plywood and Corian.
Reverse Skip Tooth scroll saw blades reduce splinters on the underside of the work. Excellent for soft wood, suitable for hard wood.
Double-Reverse Skip Tooth blades scroll saw blades. Same as double-skip tooth but REVERSE, for a splinter-free finish on the underside of the piece. Efficient blades for many woods where OVERHEATING is to be avoided.
Super Skip Tooth sawblades achieve a smooth finish from an aggressive blade. Specially designed for hard and medium hardwoods, and Acrylic with a reduced speed.
Spiral scroll saw blades cut in any direction. Your work does not have to be turned to make a cut. A good choice for medium hardwoods, softwoods, plastic, bone, and wax from 1/16" to 5/32" thick. Slow your machine down a little, and don't push hard. Let the blade cut. Half-speed is a good place to start.
